Be Confident with Invisalign
What would you say to a dental system that straightens your teeth, is completely custom to your jaw? One that can be removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss, and is nearly invisible to the naked eye? Would you be interested in exploring more?
Of course you would! You would be among the MILLIONS of people, worldwide, who have tried (and effectively utilized) the Invisalign system to get the straight smile they have always dreamed of.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign combines the advanced power of 3D computer graphics technology with more than a century of collected orthodontics knowledge to get the real results people want. The Invisalign system moves, teeth little by little, with clear plastic trays called “aligners,” into the desired location set by your dental specialist. Each one of the aligners is calibrated perfectly to accomplish their overall goal, and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan.
What Do I Need to Know About Invisalign?
Invisalign’s sophisticated computer technology translates the precise treatment instructions and fabricates meticulously-crafted aligner components (up to 48) to fit your needs. Each aligner is worn for approximately 14 days – only being taken out to eat, floss, and brush. As the system’s timeline progresses, teeth move gradually, week-by-week – until the final results are achieved.
The Invisalign Process
Simply wear each aligner for approximately two weeks, visit with the Rockaway Dental Center every six weeks (approximately) to ensure everything is working properly, and upgrade your aligners when necessary. In 9-15 months, you’ll have a stunning straight smile that you can show off to absolutely everyone. Be sure to consult Dr. Adam Helfand who has been trained and certified to use Align Technology when opting for the Invisalign system! Invisalign is recommended only for certain adults and not to be used on children.
